To use the expansion module, you need the basic Amaran SM5c kit with power supply and controller (available for sale separately). This unique LED strip allows you to personalise 5 or even 25 groups of LEDs. This means that adjacent sections can shine in different colours and create striking animations based on 21 ready-made programmes. The colour spectrum can also react to sound in real time. All thanks to a microphone built into the controller. The manufacturer also took care of the remote control function via a mobile app and support for voice assistants – Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
