FeiyuTech G6 is a splash-proof hand gimbal designed to work with sports cameras. With its advanced 3-axis stabilization, it allows you to create smooth and vibration-free shots even in the most extreme situations. Gimbal is the successor to the well known and respected FeiyuTech G5 stabilizer.
The new model introduces solutions that will allow every user to create professional quality recordings. Improved algorithm in combination with a new, more efficient battery extends gimbal’s working time up to 12 hours on one charge. Increased engine torque makes the stabilizer work more smoothly and reacts faster to sudden shocks, which significantly improves the quality of recorded videos.
Gimbal’s arms were designed so as not to cover the camera screen, giving the user the comfort of watching the recorded material. Wide range of rotation of the axis (360° for Pan and Tilt axis and 320° for Roll axis) allows the freedom of recording even in the trajectory of dynamic movement of the operator.
The G6 mounting bracket is designed to work with GoPro Hero 6 / Hero 5 / Hero 4 / Hero 3+ / Hero 3 / Yi 4K / AEE sports cameras and other cameras of similar dimensions. After installing a specially designed adapter (available in a separate sale), the device also works with Sony RX0 cameras.
Gimbal offers three modes of operation, in which the camera is directed motionlessly in one direction or follows the operator’s movement smoothly. Setting the camera in the desired position is possible thanks to practical joystick. The auto panorama mode, which allows to program a complex sequence of gimbal’s movements, deserves special attention.
In the case of Gopro Hero 5/6/7 and Sony RX0 (MK1) cameras switching between modes is intuitive. It is performed with the use of function buttons located on the gimbal mount. The OLED screen above the joystick shows the current operating mode, battery level, camera mode and Bluetooth / WiFi connection.
For users of smartphones with Android and iOS systems, the manufacturer has prepared a special application Feiyu ON for configuration and remote control. The application allows you to adjust the operating parameters of gimbal to your recording device, by setting the appropriate engine power and speed of their response.

The Feiyu-Tech G6 has a built-in Bluetooth and WiFi module. This allows you to connect your smartphone and sports camera with gimbal at the same time. This makes it possible to connect with the application and the camera in order to, for example, change the mode of operation or trigger the recording – pictures using the function buttons on the gimbal.
The stabilizer is powered by a single ICR 26650 battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which can also provide power to the camera after connecting it to the gimbal with the included cable.
Comfortable, ergonomic handle allows you to control the device with one hand. Two 1/4 inch (female) tripod mountings mount the gimbal on a tripod/ monopod or attach additional accessories such as a lamp or microphone.
In addition to the device itself, the kit includes an ICR 26650 rechargeable battery, a USB – micro USB cable, two power cables for mini USB cameras – micro USB and micro USB – USB-C, and a braced suitcase.
The functionality of gimbal can be extended with additional accessories such as: telescopic arm, tripod or telephone holder.
