Construction perfectionism
The optical construction of the lens consists of twelve elements arranged in nine groups. Three low dispersion lenses and two aspherical glasses ensure the highest image quality, edge-to-edge, even at wide-open aperture. Unlike competing wide-angle lenses, the front lens of the Laowy 15 mm f/2.0 allows the fitting of standard photographic filters (72 mm in diameter).
