You can move freely with it around a large lecture hall, auditorium, church or conference centre without losing control of your presentation. Whether you’re leading a meeting in a small training room or giving a lecture in a spacious university hall, the remote control gives you complete freedom of movement. With such a range, you can engage your audience, move between rows of chairs, approach listeners and, at the same time, conveniently change slides without having to return to the computer.
Two laser colours – red and green
The Norwii N95 Plus BLE remote control is equipped with a laser pointer that can switch between two colours: red (wavelength 640–660 nm) and green (495–545 nm). The laser beam has a range of over 200 metres, allowing you to precisely highlight key elements from a distance. The red laser is suitable for most standard applications. The green laser, on the other hand, is more visible in brightly lit rooms and on light-coloured surfaces. The ability to choose the laser colour gives you the flexibility to adapt the tool to the conditions in the room. The laser is safe to use during presentations.
Bluetooth and USB – choose your connection method
The Norwii N95 Plus BLE offers two ways to connect to a computer or mobile device. The first is a receiver with USB-A and USB-C connectors, which you store in a magnetic compartment on the remote’s casing. Once connected to the appropriate port, the device works immediately, without the need to install additional drivers. The second method is a wireless Bluetooth connection, which does not occupy a USB port and allows for convenient pairing with computers, tablets or smartphones. The remote can remember up to 7 recently used devices. This is a convenient solution for people who frequently change their workspace.
4 slide-changing modes – adapt the remote to your software
Not every presentation programme works in the same way. The Norwii N95 Plus BLE offers as many as four different operating modes for the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons, which you can switch between by pressing and holding both buttons simultaneously:
- Default mode (left/right) – left and right arrows, ideal for PowerPoint, WPS, Prezi and Keynote.
- Page Up/Down mode – the buttons correspond to the ‘Page Up’ and ‘Page Down’ keys, which work in photo viewers and galleries.
- Scroll mode (mouse wheel) – the ‘scroll up/down’ function, useful in web browsers and short video apps.
- Up/Down mode – up/down arrows, which work well in Word, Excel and other word processors.
Once switched, the mode is automatically saved in the device’s memory and remains active until the next change. This means you don’t have to reconfigure the remote every time you switch programmes or devices.
Hyperlink support without a mouse
The Norwii N95 Plus BLE is equipped with ‘Tab’ and ‘Enter’ buttons, which make it easier to work with presentations containing links to websites. The ‘Tab’ button allows you to switch between active hyperlinks on a slide. “Enter” opens the selected link. All without having to reach for a mouse. A long press of the “Tab” button activates the function for switching between open windows (the “Alt+Tab” shortcut), and a long press of “Enter” closes the active window (the “Alt+F4” shortcut). This convenient solution is ideal for interactive presentations where you want to switch quickly between different materials or close unnecessary applications without interrupting your presentation.
Norwii Presenter: remote control customisation
Despite access to 4 slide-changing modes, there may be programmes that require specific keyboard shortcuts. Thanks to the free Norwii Presenter app, available for Windows and macOS, you can assign any actions to the buttons on the Norwii N95 Plus BLE remote. You can download the app from the manufacturer’s website and install it in seconds. Once the programme is running, you will see a graphical map of the remote’s buttons, to which you can assign selected keyboard functions. This customisation allows you to fully tailor the controller to your individual needs and preferred presentation software.
