Ideal for use overhead or to raise the ambient illumination level, the 26″ diameter Lantern Softbox from Aputure has the same omni-directional quality of light as the “China Balls” of yore but is built of durable materials and has accessories such as a skirt set to control the 270-degree beam spread. The Lantern has a Bowens mount that fits Aputure lights such as the 120d or 300d series, but it is also compatible with many other lights that use this popular mount.

Description

The Aputure Lantern is a unique light modifier. The spherical softbox from Aputure has a universal Bowens mount and an umbrella-like design, so it can be ready to use in seconds. Its appearance is reminiscent of a lantern and the light that comes out of its interior is extremely soft and pleasing to the eye.

The Aputure Lantern softbox is perfect both in the studio and on set. It is compatible with all continuous light and flash units equipped with a standard Bowens mount.

It is perfect for lighting entire rooms with even and soft light. The included fabric screen allows you to limit the wide beam of light and accurately model it as required.

The modifier is made from the highest quality materials, guaranteeing reliability and long use. The well-thought-out design ensures optimum heat dissipation and imparts the required rigidity, allowing you to work outdoors without worrying about the effects of gusts of wind.
