Convenient light manipulation
The Venus Optics KX-800 is the world’s first macro flash that allows two independent torches to be freely positioned at almost any angle. Such a solution is a guarantee of precision and great creative freedom. Flexible arms measuring almost 50 centimetres in length allow precise positioning of the flashes. Thanks to the use of top-quality materials, the articulated heads perfectly maintain the desired position and the light source is always in place.
Additional continuous light source
In addition to the two independent flash panels, the Venus Optics KX-800 also features an LED lamp on a flexible arm. You will successfully use this unique pilot light source when framing and focusing. The LED lamp will also work well as the main light if you choose to forgo the torches for certain shots.
Independent flash timing control
Both torches have independent flash time control, which can last from 1/200 to 1/20000 seconds. Combined with the flexible arms and additional LED flash, this gives you great creative possibilities when it comes to the play of light and shadow in your macro shots.
Fast charging time
Depending on the power of the individual flashes, the time between successive macro shots taken with the Venus Optics KX-800 flash will be between 3 and 5 seconds. With fast burner charging, you won’t miss important moments and each of your sessions will go quickly and smoothly.
Clear LED screen
The Venus Optics KX-800 for macro shooting features an easy-to-read display that allows you to quickly and conveniently adjust the device’s parameters to suit your current needs. The screen features indicators for flash timing for the two independently adjustable lamps on the flexible mounts, as well as information on the power of the continuous LED light. One glance is also sufficient to check the battery charge level. Thanks to the ergonomic arrangement of the buttons underneath the screen, the control of the lamps runs extremely smoothly, making it much easier to work on micro photography sessions.

The Venus Optics KX-800 Macro Flash will easily clip into the hot shoe of cameras from companies such as Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus, Panasonic, Fuji or Sony. With the included 1/4″ threaded stand, you can also conveniently install it on a tripod. And since you will also find a PC port on the housing of the device, you will be able to trigger the flash not only from the camera level, but also via a cable. Test flash
There is a special “PILOT” button on the housing of the device that allows you to perform a test flash. Thanks to it, regardless of the arrangement of the flashes and the fixed power of the individual flashes, you can check before each shot whether the light will behave according to your expectations.

Did the idea for a great shot come to you as soon as you switched off the flash? Nothing lost! The Venus Optics KX-800 remembers your last used settings. This ensures that when you restart it, it’s ready to go straight away and you don’t have to waste time testing the light and readjusting the power or flash timing.
