The Nanomorph 35 mm T2.4 1.5X S35 Silver is a representative of the innovative series of anamorphic film lenses from Venus Optics Laowa. Thanks to its 2 interchangeable bayonets, the presented model is compatible with cameras and camcorders equipped with Arri PL mount and Canon EF mount. It is the world’s smallest anamorphic lens covering the Super 35 sensor.
It offers a horizontal image compression ratio of 1.5x, allowing a 2.4:1 aspect ratio on the popular 16:9 sensor. The relatively close focusing distance of 60cm will open up a whole new range of image creation possibilities, as well as allowing a greater depth of field. The lens will also allow you to create the cross flares and oval bokeh known from Hollywood productions. The Silver variant offers a silver flare shade, close to neutral white.
